Lake Regional Health System provides comprehensive health care services to residents and visitors throughout mid-Missouri. The hospital is a Level II Stroke Center, Level II STEMI (heart attack) Center and Level III Trauma Center. Hospitals must be well-equipped to treat these emergencies 24/7 to receive these designations from the state. And Lake Regional is the only hospital between Columbia and Springfield that is a state-designated center for all three emergencies.

More than 30,000 patients are treated in the Lake Regional Emergency Department each year. For patients needing overnight care, the hospital also has a Medical/Surgical Unit, Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a Progressive Care Unit, a Skilled Nursing Facility and a beautiful Family Birth Center that is a state-designated Level II nursery.

Lake Regional also provides convenient, same-day care through Outpatient Services. The care includes various surgeries and procedures, and the department has more than 305,000 visits annually.

More than 100 physicians and advanced practice providers are at Lake Regional, including specialists in cardiology, cardiothoracic/vascular surgery, endocrinology, ENT and audiology, foot and ankle surgery, gastroenterology, general surgery, medical and radiation oncology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, occupational medicine, orthopedics, pulmonology, rheumatology, sleep medicine, and urology. Completing the health system are seven primary care clinics, 20+ specialty clinics, three walk-in care clinics, four satellite physical therapy sites, two satellite cardiopulmonary rehab therapy sites, three retail pharmacies, a wound healing center, and home health, hospice, and imaging services.
