Visiting Regulations

• Visiting hours are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m. with the following exceptions:
• Emergency Department: 24/7
• Outpatient: During hours of operation
• PACU: Arranged by PACU nurse as needed
• Skilled Nursing Facility: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
• Visitors may not smoke, vape or use tobacco products on hospital grounds.
• Visitors must dress appropriately. Shirts and shoes are required.
• Visitors in semi-private rooms should be considerate of both patients.
• Visitors should avoid unnecessary noise.
• People with colds, sore throats or other symptoms of contagious diseases should not visit patients. This is for the safety of your loved one.
• To ensure the privacy of our patients, visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests, treatments or physician consultations.
• While in the hospital, visitors should stay in patient rooms/bays as much as possible.
• No more than two visitors at a time are allowed in an ICU room. Food brought from outside should be approved by a nurse first. No flowers are allowed in the ICU.
• Parents of pediatric patients are encouraged to stay with their children whenever possible.

Overnight Guest Guidelines

Our space is limited, so we ask that guests outside of the Family Birth Center plan to spend the night only if your loved one is a pediatric patient or critically ill. If you provide a phone number, the nursing staff will be happy to contact you if the patient’s condition changes. You are also welcome to call during the night to ask the nurse for updates on your loved one’s condition. Remember to have the passcode available.

Staying Overnight in a Visitor Lounge:

• Overnight guests must be 18 or older.
• Please limit guests to one family member.
• Get a visitor pass from nursing staff.
• No personal linens or electric appliances are allowed.
• Visitors will be awakened at 7 a.m. to prepare the room for the day.
• Visitors are responsible for personal belongings.
• Visitors are not permitted in patient halls after visiting hours.
